TRACK welcomes experienced data strategist on board

Uli Heimann is the new Executive Director Data Strategy at the Hamburg-based agency for brand experiences in a connected world.

TRACK has gained further data expertise with the arrival of Uli Heimann, 50. The new Executive Director Data Strategy comes from Accenture Song Build (formerly SinnerSchrader), where he was most recently Data Chapter Lead in their Marketing Technology Consulting division.

At TRACK, Heimann is now responsible for defining, developing and implementing data strategies for the agency’s clients. In this capacity, he is responsible for aligning data and strategy with business goals. In this role, he will advise on the strategic use of data for decision-making, and also provide support in the implementation of data management processes for the capture, storage, analysis and delivery of data. “If you use data correctly, you can improve business processes, customer experience and company performance. Our goal must be to make every interaction between brands and their customers more valuable by using the power of data,” explains Uli Heimann. With the help of (first party) data, he will be able to create a comprehensive understanding of customers and their needs to enable the creation of more personalised communication and effective brand experiences.

“In Uli, we are delighted to have gained a proven expert and pioneer in data-driven marketing. Working closely with strategy, data & analytics and technology, he will help our customers establish the necessary infrastructure to develop relevant, GDPR-compliant and, above all, effective communication solutions along the entire customer journey,” says Bastian Mathes, Chief Product Officer at TRACK.

Uli Heimann’s other previous positions include Director Data Solutions at Zalando Media Solutions (formerly nugg.ad) and Managing Partner Programmatic Data Strategy at Omnicom Media Group Germany.
