More cause for celebration at TRACK: The agency’s CinemaxX campaign Jetzt ist Film (It’s movie time) was among the winners in the category “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation – Brand Communication – 360° Campaign” at the German Brand Awards.
In 2021, Germany’s best-known chain of movie theaters launched a lavishly produced TVC celebrating the uniqueness of the movie-going experience. TRACK developed the accompanying campaign tagline Jetzt ist Film, backing it up with attention-grabbing headlines like Jetzt ist Singletasking (It’s single-tasking time); Jetzt ist kein Klicken, kein Swipen oder Liken (It’s not clicking, swiping, or liking time), and Jetzt ist Anti-Alltag (It’s anti-daily-grind time) that ran across a wide range of channels. The campaign also gave a new twist to famous movie quotes, heralding the new Bond film No Time to Die, for instance, with the lines Mit Der Lizenz zum Liegen (License to recline) and So Viele Funktionen, Da Wäre Selbst Q Begeistert (So many functions, even Q would be impressed).
One of the country’s most prestigious award competitions, the German Brand Awards celebrate successful brand-building in German advertising. The independent, interdisciplinary jury is comprised of experts from business, academia, consulting, the service industry, and agencies. The awards are organized by the German Design Council, an independent, globally active organization that helps companies to effectively communicate their design and branding expertise, while also aiming to enhance the general public’s awareness of design.
